The book was fine and I thought I would love it but then I got frustrated with the timeline. I couldn’t understand if we are in 2021 as dated at the entry or in the past and it got confusing fast.

Enjoyed slowly working my way through this slice of life about a bookstore up in the mountains of Italy. Made me aspire to open a bookstore once I'm older as well (if the world hasn't gone to flames by then). Also a good source of book recs - there's a list of queer books Donati suggests that I should revisit.

I like books on books and book stores. I like diaries too though I haven’t written one. I like people’s experiences that is NOT a standard or typical one. This throws some light on a country living pursuing passion and balancing economics. I did make  a good reading list out of the daily sales updates.
