okay SO i feel like this book was so up and down lol like it REALLY had me at parts and then REALLY lost me at parts and the middle dragged on a hell of a lot it felt like it was constantly just like "then the next day he did exatcly the same as the day before" and im like COOL OKAY LETS DO SOMETHIN ELSE THEN??
BUT i think the parts with Chang Geng's curse were wicked interesting and i like him and Gu Yun a lot so im def interested in continuing even if I didnt ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT OMG but i really liked it i'd say its like a 3.5 star but i can see later volumes being a lot better

Gu Yun is so emotionally constipated that it caused me physical distress throughout the entire volume. He acts like being genuine would kill him, and Chang Geng is really just trying to live his life. Excited to read the next one, I hope Gu Yun gets his crap together lol
