The plot is very slow moving, but the characters make it worth it— very akin to Chinese television dramas. I’m interested to see how it develops.
My first official English translated Priest novel (thank you, Seven Seas Entertainment!) and I loved it ❤️. Definitely going to be a slow burn as far as the main couple so I’m desperately looking forward to the next novel (December 19, 2023). There’s just this one thing I’m still trying to wrap my head around about the relationship between Gu Yun and Chang Geng
