Pet Peeve - over and misuse of exclamantion points.

A quick but interesting read. Much tragedy as well. The book shows it’s age, having been published originally in 1978. It’s so sad to know that the house no longer exists as it did. I hope the lady is at peace, and Enoch too.

Got this as a freebie on Amazon. Lode creepy, and I like creepy. The good? It was a quick read (only took me a couple hours to get through) and it did keeps y attention. The bad? I kept waiting for it to get good and creepy. Mostly it was about trying to figure out who the spirits were and why they were there, rather than about the "hauntings". Hearing footsteps and singing door handles turn would creep me out, but there was never much more than that.

I liked it. It wasn't scary, but it was interesting.

For a true story, this was pretty incredible. I really could not put this book down because I often find true ghost stories to be a little hokey. This one actually sounded pretty legitimate, and made for a quick page-turner. I would recommend this to anyone looking to add a little mystery to their life.

Spooky!

When a very rational couple rent an old mansion near Philadelphia strange things happen. The house had had no renters even though the rent was very cheap. The couple had 7 children so the home seemed perfect to them. This was in the time after WWII. They were locked into a 2 year lease. The husband has gone through seminary training as a Baptist minister but decides against going into ministry but is still a man of deep faith. If you don't believe in ghosts this true story, written very rationally might change your mind.

I really enjoyed this reportedly true ghost story. I don't like horror movies, but I do enjoy a good ghost story.
