In this book we are not only introduced to Garavel but we learn more about Mr White.
But questions aren't really answered, in fact Ellen Mint leaves us with more questions plus a few twists to the storyline.
This is the 6th book in this series and you do need to read them in order to be able to follow the storyline.

For the Love of Angels and Demons….

This books is a continuation of the Coven of Desires series. The other books are required to read for the story to make sense. We are following Layla after the events of Badge. Layla is determined to find a way to help Daniel and in the process learns about angels. She is sent on a mission to help an angel and learns more than she bargained for. There are so many twists in the story and we finally find out who Mr. White is. I would recommend this book for someone who likes the following tropes: found family, absent parents, hidden truths, secret past, surprise ally, why choose/reverse harem, good vs evil and against all odds.

An Incubus, Ghost, and a Werewolf, why not add an Angel to the mix. Layla has grown her harem with Garavel. He is so easy to love. This is an amazing continuation of Layla wild ride of a story. There are fantastic revelations and mix of personalities. The steam, magic, and intrigue kept the pages turning. I am very excited to read how Layla's story continues.

OH MY GOD THAT ENDING???? I WAS NOT READY. I NEED THE NEXT BOOK IMMEDIATELY.

SO. Not a lot happens in this book, but the things that do...what can I say what can't I say...THIS IS SO HARD, BUT WE MEET MR WHITE FOR REAL AND LISTEN, I AM IN LOVE OKAY? WHO CARES THAT HE'S EVIL? NOT ME. ADD HIM TO THE COVEN TOO.

Sorry (not sorry) for yelling. Moving on from Mr White, we have a real addition to the coven in the form of a demi angel called Garavel. He's the most innocent of all the men and really funny.

He has his own mission that ties into Layla's world saving, so obviously they're meant to be!!! And he likes ice cream. And kittens.

I miss Stone, he wasn't in this one but will hopefully be in the next book.

OH! We also have more evil werewolves, always fun to have those near an impending apocalypse. Layla and her boys can never catch a break.

AND POOR DANIEL, I wanna give him a hug.

Now let me circle back to the ending. What. How. Why. When. Help???? IT'S NOT FAIR TO LEAVE US HANGING LIKE THAT!!!
