I wished the main character, Chloe, had been more likable. She's bitchy, over-hormonal, and slightly self-destructive. Plus she hated her mother for no reason.

I liked the concept enough to keep me reading, but I really detested the character.

I would have given it on star, but for some reason I still want to read the next book and for that I gave the an extra star.

A tough book to rate. I was lucky enough to have missed the show - not because it was bad or that I heard bad things about it, just that I started the book without any expectations or knowledge of the storyline.

I kind of Luke Chloe. To start she's a little shallow and kind of rude. But she grows up and matures quite a bit between each chapter so I started to like her more as the story went

But I thought the conversations were odd, the underage drinking and some if the slang were so ridiculous they were laughable. But the story was easy to read and pretty enjoyable. I did like it and I didn't call all the twists at the end so that was fun too.

I'm not sure I'll read the next one......

It was a fun read but not something I'd go crazy over. Alyec's reveal was not what I expected. He acts irresponsible for most of the book. When we find out who he is, Chloe says she should've known. That there were signs? In all honesty, though, it all seemed to point to Brian. Maybe Alyec was putting on a facade so no one would suspect him of being more than a pretty boy. Who knows?

I just picked this book randomly from the library like 4 years before it became a tv show!
It's kinda random how they choose this series to be on tv... i mean it wasn't that great...
