What do you do if a man, who is considered perfect and has all his life settled down, stands you up on Valentine’s day? And what if he stands up THREE!! different women?
Throughout the course of this book, we find out about the point of view of these three unlucky women and how they manage the situation.

I was very skeptical to read this novel at first, but every second was worth it and I’m extremely glad I did pick it up.

Nonetheless, it’s a pretty basic writing, but it’s just Beth’s style and don’t get me wrong, I completely DEVOURED this book, but I feel like she could’ve added up a little more to it?? I would’ve adored to get to know more about AJ (my man I love him so much he is my baby), but I’m aware it wouldn’t have been appropriate with what was happening in the story.

This isn’t the first time I’m reading one of Beth’s works and I must say I’m not disappointed at all. In spite of what I said previously, I love how the story flows flawlessly thankful to her writing style and it makes us understand everything that’s occurring, but, still, it could’ve been SOOO much more. I’m sure she is able to write soooo much better than this (it almost looks like she’s withholding her marvellous abilities).

To sum it all up, I’m devoted to AJ and Siobhan. Also, to everyone who wants a thrilling read with a PLOT TWIST!!! this is definitely for you.

wowie!! This one might be my new favorite of Beth O’Leary’s work! Joseph was such a caring guy that it hard to remind myself to not forgive him for leaving all these women at the same time!

All four characters break, grow, and begin to not only accept themselves, but respect themselves too. So clever & full of depth.

I was #teamjane from the start. I felt so seen once she talking about her “rules.” It’s good to challenge those “rules” & beliefs which Joseph did so gently & compassionately. (hello!! when he sends her those books!!!!!!!!!!!

Ik kan gwn niet over deze man. Hij is te toxic in mijn hoofd. Misschien heb ik niet genoeg gelezen, we’ll never know.
