It’s hard to rate a novella as they don’t give you as much information to grasp and dwell on. It was nice to read Maxon and America’s first encounter through Maxon’s POV

A great book that gives more information that may have been missing in the main series by showing other characters' perspectives.

It was fun to see Maxon and Aspen’s POV of these scenes and how things looked from their side of the story. It definitely gave insight to why things happened like they did.

It was fun to see Maxon’s nervousness about meeting the girls for the first time. It showed a different side of him, less composed than he seemed, the royal training did him good. 

I was less excited about Aspen, and more so since he seemed to be so obsessive in this part.
