I wasn't sure if this was a four or a five until I got to the chapter where the French TV audience sang along to the Little House theme. There are no words to the Little House theme. Laughed until I cried.

Funny! I laughed, I cried and I laughed some more. Alison Arngrim was just funny through out the book even during the moments you wanted to cry. Not only a look at life behind the scenes of Little House but also a look at her life and how Nellie Oleson saved her.

I am very thankful for this funny, informative piece. Arngrim is a delight as both author and narrator.

After finishing this book, I can absolutely say that I wish I could be Alison Arngrim's friend and I never thought I'd say that about Nellie Oleson.

Arngrim has led a very colourful life. A wonderful read!

I absolutly adored this refreshing, hilarious, thought-provoking memoir. My copy has post it note flags all over the place as I singled out spots of wit or insight that I wanted to go back to. I had no idea what to expect when picking this up. I always had a bit of a soft spot for Nellie Oleson, because compared to her, I looked like a well-behaved child. Alison Arngrim writes about what being Nellie taught her, both good and bad. Yes, there's some dishy Hollywood gossip, and lots of funny antidotes, but more importantly, Arngrim is inspiring. She's a child actress who has grown up and done good, lots of good.

Oh, how this satisfied my LHOTP-loving heart! Alison is such a gem and such an inspiration. Amazing stories in this book, if just a little scattered in the overall flow.
