Enemies to lovers. MMC is FMC’s brother’s teammate/rival. Third book in the series. Can be read as a standalone, but better to read in order.

✨ARC REVIEW✨

🏒The Break Out🏒
By @madidaniellewrites

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Colton and Brynn are so damn adorable! I loved them.
The banter in this book was TOP NOTCH!
The hate to love between Brynn and Colton was so spicy I couldn’t stop reading. I devoured their story. Colton has a filthy mouth that will make anyone melt. And Brynn gives the sass back like a good girl.  🥵

The relationships of Brynn and her siblings was something I was able to connect with her on in some compacity. And the pieces of her that she felt broken - connecting her to Colton, it really pulls on your heart strings. They both are learning to heal through loss.

Their story is messy and beautiful and I loved all of it.

This is the third book in the Denver Dragons series. I read the first book but somehow skipped the second. I must have missed the release date. Well this is a hockey, brother’s enemy book. Bree does not date hockey players. Actually Bree doesn’t date anyone. Bree and her brothers and sisters had a really miserable childhood in fact the only one she seems to have a good relationship with is Brent, who happens to be the captain of the hockey team that Colton plays for. Bree tries hard to establish a relationship with her siblings but this is definitely rebuffed. Bree works as a publicist for her best friend and has been traveling a lot. Now that they have settled in Denver, Bree is starting to realize how lonely her life really is. Now Colton is just a player who really seems to have no direction. While he was playing on another team he met Bree and asked her out and she refused and now that he is in Denver with her and her brother, he makes it his mission to taunt them both. Colton really annoyed me for the first half of this book and it wasn’t because of his teasing of Bree (that was actually cute). It was his lack of respect for his fellow players on his hockey team. I almost wanted to stop reading because his behavior felt so childish and inappropriate that I didn’t want him to be happy at the end with Bree. Yet, this author was able to write a story that had me feeling bad for Colton and actually liking him at the end. Great story of two lost people finding love, with lots of great spicy moments and some cute banter.

Poorly written. Like Wattpad, but  I have to pay for it?

I am loving the hate to love relationship that starts with Brynn and Colten.. I also feel deeply for what Brynn goes through when she has alone time to think the spiraling she does just makes you want to reach through the pages and hug and tell it will be okay one day your going to find true happiness just like everyone else has!
I do know from everything Brynn’s been through Evie will be one lucky niece!! On another note the spicy in this book when it hits it hits and goes all the way to the last chapters.
