It's a spooky story within another spooky story. This is awesome middle grade horror/suspense fiction! Once they were close and now they're struggling, two sisters in the present and two sisters in the past are just trying to figure it out, but unseen forces don't want to let that happen.

Beautifully written, but just not all that interesting unfortunately. The mystery of the sisters wasn’t very enticing, and the mystery of the magical book was lackluster. The parallel relationship between the two set of sisters fell flat as well, and I felt there was no character depth or development.

This book was amazing!! I finished it in a day and I couldn't stop reading!
The characters are relatable and the story is so well developed and unique; I absolutely loved it!
I definitely recommend to mystery loving people or if you like ghosts and old stories!

Long Lost was phenomenal. I read a lot of middle grades books for work, but this book sucked me in more quickly than any adult book I've read for pleasure lately. The story is just the right mix of spooky mystery and personal growth. I told my partner every 30 pages or so "THIS BOOK IS SO GOOD!" and it was. I loved it so much that I'm thinking of ordering a class set for our school. Ten out of five stars.
