Digger && MC are so cute & right for each other. I love the whole "opposites attract" & I think this book described it throughout the whole book perfectly.

Wow! What a Ride!
I originally read the first part of Digger and MaryCat"s story in an anthology and fell in love with them then. I'm so glad we got the rest of their story now. It was beautiful and even better this time than the small part we were given in the Anthology.
Mary Catherine, ever the good girl for the Five Points Mob parents, always doing what they told her under fear of what would happen to her or the people around her. She finally has enough when her father promises to marry her to a man 40 years her senior. She runs to her half-brother Sin, who is in the Sinners MC.
They don't know each other, but five years earlier, he sent her a cell phone in case she ever needed him. She needed him now more than ever. Unfortunately, when she showed up at the Sinner's compound, he wasn't there. Luckily for her, Digger was. He had been her first crush since she first saw him at her mother's house with Sin. She never expected him to help her.
Digger and MaryCat's story begins as a story of forced proximity, a marriage of convenience, but it turns into so much more.
Digger is kind and has a Hero complex regarding MaryCat, especially when she mentions who her father wants her to marry. He is patient with her and doesn't push her.
Mary Catherine is smart and shy at first, but once she starts to trust Digger, she becomes playful and sassy with him. She knows what she wants, and she has wanted him since she first saw him.
She helps to diffuse a possible war between the two factions, and she helps to make a change.
This book may fall in the second slot in the reading order. However, it came at a point for us, the readers, when we needed this story. We needed this book to help heal our hearts after the other books ended.
MaryCat and Digger did that for us, and they helped do that for both the Five Points and the Satan's Sinners.
Audiobook:
Joe Arden and Samantha Brentmoor bring to life the characters Digger and MaryCat. This was a great read in and of itself. Add these two narrators, and it adds another dimension to the story. Joe Arden always brings a full range of emotions to his characters, and this was no different. Samantha was new to me, but she was an excellent choice for MaryCat.

This book has a pretty high rating at 4.65. I read it as it was recommended by a friend to me and she loaned me her book. I'm not normally into motorcycle club books or mob books but she really liked it so I gave it a try.
A few things turned me off, but they could be a me problem vs an author problem/book problem so take them with a grain of salt.
The innocent virgin shit annoys the holy hell out of me. I get that the storyline explained why she was a virgin, but I am still sick to death of this trope.
A lot of the storyline was about their trip across the country to get married, and the whole time I thought to myself why the hell are they going all the way to Vegas for this, and in the end the story addresses that as the main male character being dumb and not realizing he could have just done it at many other states way closer. This does against the rest of his character development that shows him as a knowing man who researches and digs for everything. So it seemed dumb.
The love story was okay, it wasnt instalove which I appreciated, but it definitely wasn't angsty. Which I liked too, there was a good balance.
The steamy sex scenes were just alright. Nothing to get too excited over and somewhat unrealistic. No 21 year old gets to that age without having move of an understanding of sex than Mary Catherine did in this book. I don't care if she was Catholic. Girls talk, there's no way she would have made it to that age that naive.
For these reasons and a few others I'm giving this one three stars. It just wasn't for me. The writing style wasnt bad, I just didn't enjoy the storyline.

Mary Cathrine hasn’t had an easy childhood. Being her mothers daughter she’s treated with no respect by her father who hates his ex wife. Her father being a Five Point Mobster promises her to a much older low rank mobster but Mary Catherine is not having it and runs away to seek out her half brother who’s runs with the Sinners MC.
Digger is the one she finds guarding the gates to the club and he offeres to save her from her arranged marriage by marrying her himself when he finds out who she’s promised to.
They drive off to Vegas to seal the deal and on the way there, by motorcycle, things heat up between them.
Their chemistry is hot and steamy, and Digger confesses his ulterior motives by marring her when he reveals who he is.
Steamy and sexy read with a great storyline.
This is a prelude crossover, to the Five points Mob and Satans sinners series.
