I barely noticed when I got to this point in the novel. It didn’t really grab me like I expected it to. I may still give it a another shot but this was not the right time for me to try it.

This felt like a warm blanket, I can't explain it. The writing is absolutely stunning and the whole collecting stories to build the memory was absolutely lovely!

Personally I had a hard time understanding about 50% of this book. With that being said, I did not think it was bad. It was whimsical and beautiful but most of the time I felt like I was playing catch-up on what was actually trying to be told.

It follows a cleric and a “grandmothers” telling of the past for the records of the clerics.

A well written novella. Impressive and concise world building, and a compelling plot.

This is a quick little book that I found enjoyable to read, but it's not one that I'm ever going to think about again and I didn't get much out of it.
