Uffff just don't pick this up please, don't give it any more clout, it's racist, antisemitic and every rapist's fanasty. Urgh
Booktok made me pick up this novel, and boy, do I regret not reading up on this more before starting it.

The FMC is raped by her stalker, who conveniently hunts down rapists and human traffickers for a living, but then does the EXACT SAME THING to her???
 
This is so so so bad and I just want to factory reset my brain to never ever have touched upon this bullshit novel

This was the first dark romance book I read and at first, I liked it … but as I continued reading, the main male mc is very red flag and hypocritical. certain adult scenes were questionable when it came to consent and while that may be some people’s cup of tea … it’s not mine. really uncomfortable. i also really don’t like how the male mc is an advocate for human trafficking but is also a creep towards women he likes. weird. 

The writing style was enjoyable though.

Was mildly disappointed with this book. It's mainly a constant rate fantasy. I did like the mix of ghost story, murder mystery, romance the genre had to it.
