Mystery, romance, friendship and art collide in the most wonderful way in this beautiful novel by Fiona Davis! I gobbled this one up!

Strong women characters. Flashbacks that confused me at first, then became an integral piece of the puzzle. Loved it!

Cute and entertaining enough; I knew the general story of the model from various NYC history podcasts, but didn't know much about the Fricks (and have managed to never visit their collection). This was decent chick lit + historical fiction, but
Spoilerthe happy ending, including a complete personality change from Helen, was ridiculous
.

An art history book with a whodunit plot is a can't lose for me! And with excellent references to help you keep leaning about the actual people portrayed.
