A definite 5-star read - was reading the abridged copy on an ereader without realizing it. I'm starting over with the unabridged version because I believe they cut out some juicy parts.

Ho dato 4,75 invece di 5 perché ho avuto qualche problema con la "sospensione dell'incredulità" in qualche punto e perché ho notato qualche incongruenza, dovuta credo al fatto che si tratta di un romanzo d'appendice pubblicato a puntate.
Ciò detto, è un capolavoro che, nella sua descrizione delle caratteristiche e dei pensieri dei personaggi e della società, mantiene una straordinaria attualità.
È di sicuro un libro che mi rimarrà impresso.

Enjoyed it so much more than I thought I would! Are there place it drags? Certainly. Are there a few long winded side plots that don’t really matter? For sure. But overall a classic revenge story, and the end even surprised me.
