This one went quick. Back to the heart of the story and that’s what i appreciates about it.

Blood Beast is a dark, but somewhat tepid installation in The Demonata series. I’m curious to see where it’ll go, but this didn’t feel very unique.

This book was more the "informative" type in the series so far; for Grubbs anyway.

This story had a very interesting and manipulative plot in the folds. I never saw it coming! Juni Swan comes back and Dervish falls in ever more love with her. The surprising part? Her magic has grown stronger than Dervishes!

The whole story resolves around Grubbs and his dire situations of him starting to turn into a werewolf. The whole story begins with Grubbs and BILL-E searching for Lord Sheftree's treasure in the forest and start digging a whole that they all mysteriously seem draw too. They are positive that, that is where Lord Sheftree buried the treasure.

If you have read book 4, BEC, then you will start to realize real quick that the hole that they are digging is not the treasure hole they thought it was, but the cave where Drust and Bec were killed in while trying to shut the tunnel to stop the demons and the demon masters coming through to Earth.

That is where history starts to repeat itself. Someone was sacrificed, and they must pay the price; Death. I am so excited to see what happens in the next book, Demon apocalypse, to see what will happen now that Grubbs fully turned. I wonder if he will be able to control it or not.
