Has some really great sequences, but I can't help but groan at the informal writing and liberal use of slang.

This is one of my lesser fave books in the series. It’s kind of like a filler book and is more in depth about the Grady curse and the effect of Grubbs which is fair because it is an important thing for the rest of the series, but for the plot of this book, I was a bit unsure as to how this linked with the end consequences
Absolutely still love it though!

OMG!!! This book blow my mind away! The entire book had me nervous, it was so exciting!!! I think this is my favorite until now, I can wait to start the next one and found out how it goes on!! THE END!! Omg! I always suspected but it didn't make it less shocking, I can't believe everything that has happened and there so many questions to answer yet!

With this book we’re once again back to finding out the story of Grubbs.
Again Grubbs is developing as a character, although for completely different reasons to those in prior books. Another well-paced book in the series, keeping you hooked from start to end. Moreover, this one ends on a cliff-hanger being part of two books which run one after another unlike the prior books in the series which seem to jump about in time a bit (unless you have read them in chronological order).
