You know that saying about something not being equal to the sum of its parts?

Here's what you've got:

Punisher: the guy who shoots everyone in the face

Deadpool: the guy who also shoots everyone in the face and oftentimes gets shot in his own face

Venom: Flash Thompson is now wearing the Venom symbiote, which makes sense as his legs don't work the rest of the time

Elektra: Okay, I was never all that hot on Elektra, but that's mostly because she used sais all the time. You know, those weird fork thingies that Raphael of Ninja Turtle fame was really into.

Red Hulk: Well...fine. I guess if we have to have a red hulk, he might as well be here.

And what happens? They kill some dudes. A couple of them have sex for no real reason. And beyond that, there's almost no interaction between the characters, which is kind of the point of these team-ups, huh?

A team of bad good guys as long as you can call elektra and punisher and venom good guys. And Red Hulk - apparently Red Hulk is a thing. Actually a pretty good book if a bit weird. And yes it does have Deadpool in it, which is a negative. And Elektra has no personality to her. Definitely one of those books where the line between the good guys and the bad guys isn't quite so obvious.

A bunch of Marvel anti-heroes thrown together to handle a coup ... with Tarantino violence to boot.

They are definitely not my Thunderbolts. I'm so upset that the older Thunderbolts series ended and switched to the dman Dark Avengers. Dark Avengers is b.s. and the characters are terrible except for Moonstone.
