I'm so disappointed that I didn't like this book. I finished the other 3 each within a day but this one was hurling me so close to a slump I had to give it up and pick up God of Fury again so I didn't fully slump. It felt like we were told time and time again how she was full of "fire" and would fight back but every single time something would happen they did nothing and I couldn't listen to Zellus anymore like why didn't they try anything sooner? The issues in book 1 were still not figured out in this one and like why? Each book is long so why drag it out

You know what I hate when it comes to series of books I’ve come to like and actually be excited in reading more about? When the end is too rushed, the epilogue not enough to give a sense of peace, if you will, for all the characters.

There was no reunion of some sort for Nyx’s children, including Rhea, and nothing of the sort about the vampire twins whom the author decided was best to just hide up in their room all the time after getting healed as if they weren’t Rhea’s friends either.

The books were good. A little too overdone with Selene when she could have been dead ages ago after given so many warnings. What this book just made me gave it two stars was the disappointing book for Rhea and The Elites’ story.

The romance was good but not great, and the build up was a little unsatisfying, but I loved every minute of this series

love

I love all of KC Kean’s books. This series falls a little short of the others though. I definitely wish every spicy scene didn’t involve ripping clothes, it got a little much with it happening every time. While I’ve reread her other series, I probably won’t reread this one, but I’m glad I read it. Everything was good - spice, plot - not fantastic, but good. I’ll read Harm’s story and see if unanswered questions in this series are answered in hers, but if not, I’m mostly ok with not having those answers. I kinda feel like things were added to make Rhea have a hard life before she meets her unit and the resolution of certain things aren’t really needed because they weren’t all that important to the story and could have been excluded all together. Example: Xander knows and tells Rhea he knows how to reverse the forced infertility, but we don’t know what that is or really what Rhea’s decision is.

If I was reading reviews to know whether or not to read this series, I would want to know that it is worth the read. Just know if you’ve read her Featherstone or Ruthless series that they are way better.

Oh man what a fantastic final story for Rhea and her boy's. I felt like my heart was being taken on one wild ride after another. Eveything has been leading up to war between Rhea and Zellus and that lil shocking admission with Zeus, and I love the surprise of Rhea finally, finally getting her magic...yayyy. I did not see that coming out of left field though. Those sexy times though were smoking hot af...next level as always. But I don't want to give thing's away you just have to read this story. It is fanfreakintastic. I cannot wait for Harmonia's story that's next.
