I really enjoyed this retelling of famous fairy tale characters. This retelling showed a deeper emotional side of the Wicked characters and how they formed their lives after “losing”. How they helped each other move on with their lives from their pain.

" Your mirror is kinda of a dick"
Who doesn't think their mirror is kinda of a dick sometimes?
I loved this modern fairy tale. It is from the perspective of all the well known "wicked" female characters from fairy tales. The story is enjoyable but the ideas and issues that are at the heart of the story go much deeper. How do we know we are listening to the correct perspective? Maybe the devil was helping by giving humans knowledge and was punished by some bad press? Can you ever be a female and escape the weight of needing to be beautiful to society - maybe you have to paint on a mustache and dress like a man to find that freedom? I loved this story from the beginning to the end. Even if you take the story at face value it has quick, enjoyable plot.
