I was way too creeped out to make it to 100 pages into this book.

I get the premise of a romantic relationship across time, but a man in his 30s kissing a girl in his teens that he knows becomes his wife is too much for me.

The plot is nice, the writing is good, but the age gap relationship is not kept near appropriate enough for me to finish this book. If it was done as commentary on something and used as a plot device, I might be able to get past it, but it isn't. This man is straight up creeping on his wife when she was a child.

I cannot understate how grossed out I am.

I enjoyed this novel pretty much from the first page. I'm a sucker for time travel stories and this one delivered big time. Never have I experienced such a well crafted time travel story where the story unfolds in such a seemingly random collection of times through the characters' lives. Henry is a complicated character that was fun to dissect and try and piece together throughout the story. The love story is one of a kind to say the least.

This was so great I read it in a couple of days. It was one of those books that I couldn't read fast enough. The way the author tells the story seems like it would be impossible to understand, but she does it in such an interesting way that I found it easy to follow. The best part to me was the characters. It really put me in mind of the relationship I have with my husband, and the wit and humor of how we handle difficult situations. A twisted and crazy love story. It is the first book that has made me cry in a long time.

I know I'm gonna be put through the ringer for this one (sorry, Kell), but I just "wasn't feelin' it." Maybe it doesn't translate as well on audio, but I found the (May 20, 1989...Claire is 17 and whatshisface is 43) really tedious.
