This is such a sweet romance. Trigger warnings for ableism.

I don’t think I’ve read a book with a main character who has a disability and I really liked that. I didn’t, however, like the cheating. That is usually an instant DNF for me but I carried on and it is still a bitter taste in my mouth.

I just wish it was a little longer and fleshed some things out more. Stuff felt rushed sometimes.

This book was sweet and fun and I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to checking out more in the series!

Rereading for the first time in audio and preferred the female narrator over the male.
Bowen doesn't get enough credit for writing about disability/mental health rep before it was common, and Callihan and Hartley have to be one of the first interabled romances, never mind that it's new adult. I'd forgotten the details of this series and am looking forward to reading the rest of the series again.

Loved it

Great story with wonderful characters and some lessons to be learned. Loved how everyone has shit to shovel. That is so true!!!

Oh man, I adored this. And it was so freaking nice to see a disability in a romance—and even seeing the not so pretty sides of it. Loved the two characters, loved the plot. I can’t wait to binge the rest of these.

I really enjoyed it. Review to come
