There is no substantial plot. That, in itself, isn't an issue. The problem is, this book is also not particularly character driven - none of the girls are likable or even interestingly messed up enough to compensate for their lack of substance.

Besides there being no plot and no character development, the vibes are also not it for me. What kind of "girlhood" are you guys experiencing that this is just "girls being girls"? I loved the hive mind perspective with which the book is being written (the reason why i kept reading it) but the prose sounds to me like a glorified wattpad story that a teenage girl that takes herself to seriously would write.

The metaphors and descriptions lack cohesion and clarity, which makes the reading of the prose feel like a chore.

Overall, not for me at all.
