It's an OK sumemr read.
I get it, opposites attract, if only not almost all books of this genre included such couples. HAving said that, I preferred other books in the series, this one was a bit disjointed

Holy. Crap. Ecstasy Unveiled was AMAZING!! Lore is half Seminus and half human and his mixed lineage has given him a strange gift: if he touches someone with his right hand, even a light or accidental touch, that person drops dead immediately. Things happened to him and his twin sister that led to them being enslaved as assassins. Lore has one last kill to do in order to free himself and his sister from the assassin master. His final target? Kynan, a charmed human whose life he saved in the previous book. Kynan, however, has an earthbound Memitim angel named Idess whose job is to protect him. Kynan is also being protected by The Aegis and by Lore's Seminus brothers.

When Lore attempts to kill Kynan, he comes face to face with Idess and man, it is SO GOOD!!!! After their first fight, these enemies are forced to stay together in close proximity and the transition from enemies to lovers is so well done. I LOVE Lore so much!! He is my favourite Seminus brother. He has such a wicked sense of humour and he is so honourable. He does everything he can to protect his twin sister and he has gone through endless torture for so many years. Lore has led a lonely life and he wants to get to know his newfound Seminus brothers better. But the impossible situation he's forced into pits him against his brothers. Idess is also such a great heroine. I love how compassionate she is toward Lore. Their dynamic is so good and omg the romance...the romance of it all just makes my heart so happy 🥰 I was so moved by their love for each other. So sexy and so romantic. The best of both worlds.

I love how the author has built this series and expanded the world in a way that just blows my mind. All of the characters are seamlessly included in each book and I love that Eidolon and Kynan are basically the heart of the series. And I especially love that the characters, even if they aren't doctors, always find their way to Underworld General Hospital. It's the central location in every book and I love that there's always something happening at the hospital that contributes to the plot.

I am SO EXCITED for Sin's book!! Her chemistry with Conall is amazing and the plot with the werewolf epidemic is just genius. I don't know how the author comes up with this stuff!!

P.S. The Grim Reaper listens to The Beatles and drinks Starbucks 😂

I love Larissa Ione's Demonica series. They are great books. They remind me of "ER" and a soap opera combined. Except there are demons, fallen angels, vampires and werewolves.

I thought "Ecstasy Unveiled" was a fabulous book. It's probably my favorite. I was a little skeptical because she already wrote stories on the three main brothers. I thought Lore's story was going to have a weak plot. To my surprise, it didn't. What I love about Ione is that she has a special talent to bring in past characters without distracting from the main characters.

I do think the plots are a little soap opera style. Entertaining? Yes. Epic? No. I love the way she depicts all the male characters. They are so yummy. Ione having a military background definitely shows in her writing which I think connects to her audience. There is a type of alpha male comradery she creates in her stories that attracts me to her books. I am looking forward in reading her latest novel this September.

More silly demon romance!

Actually, I feel like Lore is the best hero since Eidolon - he had more depth and layering to his character than Shade or Wraith. I also like Idess, his heroine, quite a lot. She was pretty down-to-Earth for being an angel in training and
Spoiler daughter of the Grim Reaper. (Who has griminions! Might be my favorite new thing.)
. Of course there's a lot of "everyone's in (im)mortal peril!!!" wailing going on and family drama galore, but it's a fun read.

I wasn't a fan of Lore but the book was good. I must say that for Ione, the book was really good. Gives you a back story to Lore and Sin(twins not couple). You find out that Sin is the only recorded female Sem, that is a tongue twister. Anyway Lore is an assassin and his job to to kill Kynan(sp?) otherwise Sin will be sold into slavery. As everyone who read the last few books knows, Ky is protected by literally an angel who will always know when he is in trouble. The rest is for you to figure out.
