Povero Trotty, lascialo in pace.

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook because of Richard's voice acting. He really gives his all for every role he does.

DNF.

Ugh Dickens. Paid by the word and it shows. And not for the better.

Shockingly reminiscent of how the poor are treated today.

Might just be bad timing but I found this one quite hard to read/follow and therfore struggled to put the effort in to read it. The fourth quarter did at least get me back on track with who is who and whats going on but that was too little to late for me.

A follow up to "A Christmas Carol" whose main character is opposite of Scrooge.

Similar feel to [b:A Christmas Carol|5326|A Christmas Carol|Charles Dickens|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1406512317l/5326._SY75_.jpg|3097440], although from a different perspective, and felt darker than that, whether because the other is so familiar, or because this one seemed less clear about circumstances.

It was like a remake of A Christmas Carol only without any of the good parts.
