Incredible listen, had me cackling and nearly weeping, and hollering "I'm not a witch, I'm your wife" constantly

So sweet. I laughed out loud and cried many times. My favorite thing was the injections of other actors' and production members' narration of their perspectives on the topics Elwes describes. Joe Layden also did an amazing job of shaping these stories into a compelling, fascinating narrative that makes this book impossible to put down! Especially as someone who almost never reads autobiographies, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this book. Highly recommend to all lovers of The Princess Bride book or movie.

Absolutely enjoyable!
As a huge fan of the Princess Bride (movie and book), I enjoyed these 'behind the scenes' stories. It was a fun read and nice to know that the actors and team enjoyed themselves while making it. My hopes and beliefs about this movie and its cast were simply validated (e.g. everyone was perfectly selected and the 'only one' that could play their part - I do not disagree!).
However, I didn't find any of the tales 'inconceivable'. No earth-shattering revelations or deep secrets were revealed in the book. In fact, some of the stories (esp. Andre-related) I'd heard before, as stories about giants tend to shared by many.
