I feel like the Bennett stories are getting better, while the Cross stories are losing steam. The team is back, everything was fun, the cases were interesting. Luckily we had less life threatening situations for everybody.
So disappointing! Poorly written from start to finish.
My first Patterson/ludwidge novel and definitely NOT my last. I really loved the writing style. I wasn't sure how the story lines were all going to pull together though they did. I'm not normally a big fan of multiple story lines though these authors did it masterfully. Suspenseful! Funny enough I enjoyed the little blurbs about the characters huge family of 12 and the side trip about the adopted daughter. Didn't fit with the main suspense lines though woven in to the story so well and I enjoyed it.
Too many different plots going on at the same time. It’s not like the Bennett novels are outstanding literature and they’re just supposed to be fun, wild reads kind of like straight to streaming action films, but even by that standard, Burn is a tough one to follow.
That being said, the action scenes are still exciting hand there are worse ways to spend an evening if you want some escapism without a screen.

Another good one. I love Mary Catherine and Seamus. This series is one of my favorites. Action packed throughout. This one is a little gross in some parts…still totally worth the read. Recommend!!

Can he just get with Mary Catherine already ?
Alright, so I've officially read the book. I have to say, I love Michael Bennet. I think that he truly exists somewhere in the world and I would be happy to have him exist in mine! Move over husband, make room for Michael Bennet!
I don't want to give anything away -- because that would not be cool. But I absolutely love these characters and the funny way that the story is told in a lighthearted way. I love his attitude and spunk! He seems like he's totally a New Yorker!
I can't wait for #8 to come out.
