I don't usually read about rock star romances. But an Orc rock band?  Yes, please. This felt both familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. A workplace romance between a lead singer and the tour manager. Except the lead singer is an Orc and the tour manager is a witch. Overall, it was a fun and light read. The chapters were short and concise. While I enjoyed some aspects of the romance between Alexis x Mace. I'm just personally not fond of insta-romance/lust.

I got a free copy of this book for an honest review!

I have to say for my first ORC book and first book by Josie Kell & Flora Dare I have to say I really enjoyed this ORC Rock Star Monster Romance. I enjoyed reading all about the characters and how fast passed this book is. If you like books about rock stars and monster romances this book is for you. The romance between the two main characters is off the chart HOT and you'll want to read more about the other characters and hopefully the main two characters also. I give it a 3.5 stars for overall book. Smut is a 4 out of 5 stars and lastly but not least romance is about 3.5 out of 5 stars.

blurb about book:
Alexis is a witch but not a really good one, she can't do a lot of the magic like her sister can and does. Her family seems to favor her sister cause of it. Alexis became a tour manger to have a different life that she loves. She managed a boy band for a while. Something bad happened and she saved the day and she got her new job with Mace's Orc Rock band.
Mace is an ORC and his band members also (Torch, Frey, Jax and Clash) he has had a bad break up and he sees Alexis and he is gone on her. She doesn't think they can be together in the open or it'll get her fired.

Read this book and see if Alexis and Mace journey into their relationship and how they vibe with their friends Torch, Frey, Jax, Clash and Shawna, you'll get some surprises towards the end. You won't be disappointed with this book!

Fun, fast, and filthy!

This was a super quick and easy read with a lovable cast of characters. It was very smut heavy and imo could have used a bit more romance and rely a smidge less on the miscommunication trope. I liked the playful writing style and how ultimately low stakes it was. Sometimes you just need an adorable/sexy af orc rock star to help you escape the world for a bit.

This book wasn’t awful, I just didn’t love it. It’s very “insta” love, and I like the characters but they’re dry hollow throughout this book. I found it to be a bit to much silliness in the romance ups and downs. There were a few continuity mistakes and sometimes confusing to really pictured what was happening logistically. It’s a cute easy read with a HEA. I have a new appreciation of Orcs now though. I find this book needs an editor and maybe a bit more of plot working. It was okay, but I think this book could be great. Plus there is a huge opportunity for a great series!
