This book felt like it was written just for me, and my friend who picked it up at my recommendation said the same. I normally don’t venture to self help, but I’m so glad I did because Allison’s voice is so genuine and kind. Self help is good sometimes, especially when written by a thoughtful person!

So incredibly helpful as someone living with these disorders and having had relationships fail due to circumstances regarding these disorders. Really felt validated

Not bad, just not what I was looking for? It was very conversational instead of a more formal type of how-to/guide towards whatever

I admit I did not go into this book with the most open mind. But it was genuinely helpful! Multiple times I felt seen.

A great mixture of clear advice and personal stories from an author who’s been there. The chapter about sex was the only one that felt a little too specific to Allison’s life for me to relate to. This book has really made me rethink how I approach dating.
