I think that this book is a good way for children to know that they can talk to others if they are in an abusive at-home situation.
The sketch art style gave the book a more serious and older overtone which this book requires because of its serious topic.
This book is long for an early elementary student, but I believe that it could be advantageous for more advanced readers.
