It's ok. Typical slice of life lightheared highschool shenanigans. Though very stereotyping. Under normal circumstances, something I wouldn't binge read. But I need a palette cleanser after all that shonen I've been reading.
Adorable slice of life shoujo about Izumi Miyamura and Kyouko Hori, two polar opposites. At school, Hori is the popular straight a's student that everyone admires, but at home she's a hardworking plain jane where as Miyamura is a gloomy bespectacled loner and out of school he's pierced and tattooed.
The two meet unexpectedly when Miyamura helps out Hori's little brother and thus starts their friendship.
I had been waiting for this volume for over a month, I'm really happy that it's finally here but I read both of the volumes I have so now I have to wait until I can get more. I really loved all of the characters so far and I adore Miyamura.

Better than expected. It's interesting how different the school culture is in Japan. I don't think I can imagine an American teen who's pierced and tattooed pretending to be boring and normal at school. Maybe the other way around. Anyway, the pacing was pretty good, and the development of feelings between the main characters felt fairly natural.

This book was adorable. Can't wait to finish the rest of the series. If you like a lighthearted and sweet budding teen romance check out this book. The art is "chef's kiss" and simply so cute. Let me be frank here, you've gotta check this manga out bro, it's the cutest thing ever.
(THEM together makes my heart flutter and explode in dopamine and happiness.)
Mmmm I don't know how to feel me about to manga ... It's cute and of course I gonna wait for the anime in January but I feel like when we pass the chapters all the main story just fall apart ... It's a good manga if we take this manga only like a daily life story ... I mean we don't have a main topic on it, i like the characters tho still I feel like we don't have a north ... I don't know how this story gonna continue
came here after watching the anime and perhaps im falling even deeper in love with miyamura ohno :”)
I actually started reading this because the official anime will be be airing this coming January 2021. I immediately fell in love with the trailer when I saw it. And based on the comments, I read that a lot of fans are so thrilled that Horimiya will be having an animer version soon. So, I got curious and I wanted to know what they love about this manga. So far, it has avery promising start. The story is cute and fluffy, and I can't wait to read more.
Love it so far! Their interaction is so cute!
