There's always the time of year when I start reading Manga and no novels. I guess that time is now...T_T

This was cute, will definitely continue the series :)

Give me more!

I really liked it, and I need to know how it keeps going! There's too much tension and what if they for me to function!!

Such a cute manga already 😊😊

This series balances slice-of-life, low-drama comedy with sweet, realistic moments of emotional weight. And the art style....The paneling is clean, the character style is simple and cute and grows with the story. Might be boring to some, but it's one of my favorites.

Wow, I've been reading a lot of manga lately.

This is a story about Hori and Miyamura, who both have certain images and reputations at school, but after the seemingly gloomy Miyamura appears pierced and tattooed at Hori's doorstep, they find out that there are different sides to every person.

This was really cute and light-hearted, and was a very quick read. The characters were all so sweet and funny, and overall, I had a fun time reading about them. I basically have no complaints, but I have a feeling I'm in for a slow-burn romance...

funny hopeful lighthearted medium-paced
Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

Very happy that I randomly picked up this number one! Although I just found out that #1 is the only one currently available through my MEGA library - very disappointed :(
I originally misread the back cover and thought it was going to be a pretty problematic cliche love triangle, girl saved from her own boringness sort of manga. Thankfully this was not the case and what I got instead was a pretty refreshing take on the quintessential shojo story-line. Multifaceted characters who don't necessarily try and manipulate each other in super dramatic ways!

Horimiya is a light-hearted and fresh comedic romance — not quite a romantic comedy. I’d recommend this series for manga readers looking for something funny instead of an epic romance or manga-lovers who want something to brighten up their week.
