Considering the amount of fantasy I've read, it's surprising it's taken me this long to read my first Brandon Sanderson! It came across as a bit trope-y at times, but it was very readable, and I enjoyed the mechanics of allomancy. Looking forward to exploring other elements of the Cosmere in due course.

holy fucking shit. i tried reading this book in a physical copy. i tried the original audiobook. both times i couldn't get through it, never made it more than 1/3rd of the way through. boy howdy am i glad that the graphic audio version was spectacular enough to get me through it because god damn was that good
