holy fucking shit. i tried reading this book in a physical copy. i tried the original audiobook. both times i couldn't get through it, never made it more than 1/3rd of the way through. boy howdy am i glad that the graphic audio version was spectacular enough to get me through it because god damn was that good

I was a little worried that this book would be generic fantasy (which I don’t usually enjoy) when I first started reading it - a worry that was very quickly dispelled. Everything from the characters to the worldbuilding to the pacing is great about this book, and Sanderson absolutely deserves his reputation.
