Adding this to the list of books I should’ve started sooner.
I loved everything about this book. The world, the powers, the dialogue, the characters (looking at you Vin and Kelsier), the plot, the overall writing. I truly have no notes. And this is the first book I’ve read in a while that made me genuinely cry. Oh how I’ve missed a book that can pull so many emotions from me. I am now a huge fan of Brandon Sanderson. Well done sir!

I started this as a buddy read with my 2 best friends and we all got side tracked with life so that’s took me way to long to finish this book.
I now understand why everyone raves about BS and his work because his world building was insanely good HOWEVER, I have just found out that he is fatphobic and his work reflects such views.
I have gave him a pass with his “queer views” because he retracted those statements but this is now another problematic thing about him that I can no longer tolerate.
I won’t finish this series or any of his other works because of this.
This is my own personal opinion.

Realmente no sé como calificar este libro, creo que es de los mejores finales que he leído porque me mantuvo atento y ansioso todo el tiempo, en el buen sentido, la verdad ya tenia 2 o 3 intentos de leerlo hace mucho tiempo y nunca me atrapaba (gracias elantris por ayudarme a entender el mundo).
Creo que en ciertos aspectos la historia es lenta, pero me parecio que de la mitad para adelante es un libro increible. Me deja un sabor de boca bueno, con ganas de mas y creo que es interesante como se plantea el sistema de los alomanticos, tiene bien estructurado como funciona todo y al final con lo mismo cierra de manera muy buena el libro, dense una oportunidad de leerlo hasta el final, Me encantó!

Coming from someone who isn’t super big into fantasy, this book was great. The characters are enjoyable, the world is nicely put together, and the story is spread out evenly.
I highly recommended this one and if your on the fence about reading it.... burn some metal and take a leap into Mistborn 🙌
