I understand why it's a classic now! Incredible stuff from pacing to world-building to social critique it's easy to see why the author is the scion of fantasy and how so many others have drawn inspiration from his work. My only critiques are the magic system is more complex than any other I've read and the understandably petulant nature of our leading lady (very much a teenager) but these are fairly negligible when compared to the depth of the narrative itself.
