Hmmm, did I like this one? No, but I don't consider my time was wasted by reading this either. I think this is well written, and my problem is that I don't understand this style of storytelling, and poetry is not my thing.
I recommend reading this and hope everyone gets something out it.

This was incredible. At the start I was hesitant, the last few books I’ve read from the perspective of children have really annoyed me, and I wasn’t looking forward to another stupid kid narrator and seeing the world through their eyes. Split Tooth was nothing like those other books. This sucked me in and I was totally enthralled by the language, the story, the world. It’s a hauntingly sad story but at the same time the parts that really took my breath away were full of hope and a kind of light. I’m going to be thinking about this book for a long time. And frankly a great read for a hot ass summer.
