This kid, surrounded by weddings, was a great story. Probably my favorite Sarah Dessen (but I should re-read the rest of them). I loved this. Ugh. Weddings and happiness.

Ugh this was by far my least favourite Sarah Dessen book, and, frankly, a disappointment.
There is instalove, 2d characters, a boring romance, and no deeper, more meaningful bits thrown in. I mean, going in I knew it would be a typical YA romance, but usually Dessen at least gives us some depth! Unfortunately Once and for all was lacking in this department. It feels like she's lost her mojo!

kind of cringe, definitely not her best but as always had a very sweet ending <3
Very cute, one of Dessen's best. I especially liked the revelation about Phone Lady. Not what I was expecting...and that is pretty rare in a Dessen novel! A twist that the reader can't see coming ;)
With 100 pages left I thought I'd hate the inevitable end, but she did it well. I can't decide if it's one of the better Sarah Dessen books or if I'm biased bc she signed this when I met her 2 weeks ago and I fangirled the most. I need a good Just Listen re-read... 💜
