Sarah has more forgiveness in her than any friendship I ever had at that age.

A very age appropriate lesson on friendship and inclusivity. I loved everything about reading this one with my daughter. And we got to practice our spelling too!

As a 90's child, I couldnt imagine it without the American Girl books!

We didn’t get to read Meet Addy, as it wasn’t at the library, but this was a good one! Emily and I stopped many times to discuss friendship and what it was like during the Civil War. Good jumping off point.

Addy goes to school. Learns some things. Adequate storyline overall.

5 stars. Addy starts school and makes new friends and this was heartwarming, educational, and a lot lighter than book one. I adore Addy so much and it was wonderful watching her learn to read and then go home and teach her mother how to as well. A great installment. I love these little books.
