I much preferred this one compared to the previous one. The language is less cryptic, it has good romance and some interesting discussions on how stories are told when it comes to different cultures. Just as quick and very nuanced.

I don't know why but I didn't really care about this story. The threat of being eaten by the tigers really wasn't interesting to me, I found that aspect mostly annoying and it didn't have the calm vibes of the first book.
Maybe I need to read these books twice every time to understand and appreciate the story properly... I'll continue the series though. I hope the next one is more my taste again.
