Seeing the differences in the way the tigers tell the story vs the humans version of the tale was cool!

This was great! I ended up finishing it in less than a day (which is why I love novellas so much). I liked the stories that were told, but my only issue I had is that with the audiobook, it was a little hard to tell where 'present day' ended and a story started, and vice versa. I found I had to backtrack a little bit because I missed that transition and got lost. I'm going to try the ebook of the next one to see if it works better actually reading these rather than listening to them!

I've been really enjoying this series so far. I definitely liked this book better than the first one. I loved the stories in this book and how they were told by Chih and the tigers. I loved how in depth the stories were and how they were LGBTQ+. I've already started the third book and it's already so good!

This book is soooo close to 4 stars for me, but something about it made it fall a little flat for me. I think maybe because this is a sequel, we as readers know what the 'gimmick' is now, and I was just waiting to get to that part. Also this book lacked the 'dreaminess' quality I feel the first book had. Some of the dialogue felt a little too modern and it took me out of it a bit.
fast-paced

Once again, beautiful writing, but I don't think these are enjoyable enough for me to continue reading the rest.
