Appropriate title for this volume. “Animal Farm” meets Fables

I didn't like this one quite as well as the first one. I hope it's not indicative of how well I'll like the rest of the series, because I don't want it to go downhill from here. I'm still finding it very interesting, and I have the third volume sitting here ready to read.

And they lived happily ever after. Or not!!!! Goodness I liked this volume wayy better than the previous.Dying to know what other crazy shenanigans the creatures of fabletown will come up with next. This volume had a very nice blend.

Because so much of this one is set on the Farm, we don't get a lot of time with some of my favorite characters (I am a Bigby stan). It's a good adventure, with Snow, Weyland, Reynard, and Rose outwitting the Farm Fables in revolt, and I deeply don't like Goldilocks, which makes this one not one of my favorites!

An absolute blast and a step from everything that the first volume established. Fantastic.
