One of the better ones that I've read recently. Solid storyline, and I actually really liked the artwork, surprisingly enough. The voice was strong throughout, and I liked the way it made use of all the main characters in a way that allowed them to be real people.

This wasn’t bad. It wasn’t amazing but it was pretty good. Though the shame is the continuing thing I keep encountering with all these pre X-Men #1 comics: all of the supporting characters will never reappear. Warren’s relationship with the characters in this book is interesting and... they’ll never reappear. The villain is left ambiguously alive or dead but has, as far as I can tell, never reappeared.
The art in this book is not great. I like the style of it but there’s just far too much anatomical weirdness and a discomforting amount of objectification of a teenager girl.

The art is dramatic and spindly. The story is gothy religious John Hughes fun. Not essential, but a good read.
