I have never been less interested in a main character. This didn’t feel like Elle’s other books, especially in this series. It felt like all Allie and Dean did was have sex and never actually develop a relationship? Odd at best. and the random death? Also odd at best.

I liked Dean and Allie. This is my third read through and for some reason I always pictured them both brunette. Dean being redeemed in this book is do not realistic. But I still like it.

the dialogue and dean’s pov in general is so cringy that i wanted to die…but it’s fun and compulsively readable. i didn’t particularly care for either of the mcs but they have some good moments together. also the last third makes a HARD left turn but in a way that i weirdly liked after there being almost no plot for the rest of the book. i want to read another one!
