They had good chemistry, but where was the plot? I liked the first book and the second one was okay. Maybe I just read too much romance at once and lost interest…
But really, I'm a bit tired of this series having guys who don't want a relationship at all, and girls that seemingly cannot exist without it. I hate this way of "Look, I fixed him, I tamed him".

i liked this book a lot better than the mistake. i liked allie from the beginning because i liked her in hannah's book but i didn't really like dean as much, he grew on me though. as for the friendships in this book? top notch. elle kennedy knows how to write friendships, that's for sure. i loved how dean coached the middle-schoolers, i thought that was cute, that was probably my favorite part of the whole book, that and when allie literally almost gave dean a concussion in chapter 28, that chapter was hilarious. the friendship that these boys have is what keeps me reading these books, their friendship is so genuine that they'd do anything for eachother.
