Listened to Damour read the audio version. She is a very thoughtful psychologist- this book deals comprehensively with a very important topic.

I actually didn’t finish this book (yet) but it is a great perspective on teen anxiety.

I received Under Pressure as an ARC from a goodreads giveaway. Firstly, this book is written for parents and I read it as a therapist. It has a lot of helpful information, and some good pieces of advice. I think it could be very helpful for someone that is struggling with the impacts of stress and anxiety on a teenage girl. However, Under Pressure is loaded from top to bottom with stats, research and case studies. while helpful, Under pressure, may not actually be interesting to someone who does not enjoy reading those things or do that for work.

This is a great book for anyone who works with adolescents. Lisa Damour is truly an expert in her field. Her latest book is full of real life examples and great advice that is practical for parents, teachers, youth pastors or anyone who works with youth without being overly intellectual and hard to understand.
