An honest, funny and moving account of Prince Harry’s life and the challenges that come with being the spare. I thought the book particularly picked up in the third section, talking about Meghan and recent events. Took me a while to get through but I ended up being very moved. Appreciated having an insight into a life completely different from my own.

I'm not really a fan of the royals at all, so I've put off reading this, but I actually ended up really enjoying it! It's a very interesting and reflective take on living your live in the ultimate spotlight, the effect the loss of a parent has on you (especially at a young age), the pressures of family, and the absolutely horrible beast that is the British press. I'd recommend reading this, even if you're like me and hold no love for Prince Harry or any of the royal family.

From your resident nosy neighbor, this is NOT the book for you if you are looking for a tell all that spills gallons of tea.
If you are in the mood for a few frills, introspection and hindsight walk down memory lane Prince Harry has given us that. Examining his life through the lens of his grief after losing his mother and coming of age while answering the true millennial question, 'what am I doing? More importantly, why?' Spare takes us through the last 25 years of recent Royal family history and gives us an inside out view of what really happened. Harry doesn't sensationalize, but he DOES give an open and thought provoking view in this memoir.
