This book was good for your standard thriller. No really big twist or turns. I think it was a little too obvious who the real killer was. I am hoping that she will learn to better disguise it in the next installment. I will probably give the 2nd book a chance.
I just could not get into this book. It struck me as a boring, poorly written version of James Patterson's Women's Murder Club series, complete with the cop, reporter, and medical examiner. I couldn't make it past page 50.
This was really good. I could kind of see where it was going to go but not how they were going to get there. Good plot and I like the characters.
This is a very impressive first book! It's full of murder, mystery, twists and unexpected turns. Just when you think you have an idea of what is going on, the next chapter throws it all into doubt. Although I did correctly predict the ending, the journey to get there was fabulous! I can't wait to get my hands on more from this author!
So neat that this is Nashville. The characters are lovable and become even more so throughout the series. Intelligent and cohesive writing throughout the series.

This is the 1st book in the Taylor Jackson series. It was on OK mystery with loads of murder & forensic speak. I think there were too many side stories & gaps in the plot. I knew who the murderer was not too far into the story. A little too many characters & a side murder that didn't go with the rest of the story. I will read the next book in the series to see if it gets better.
