*Spoilers* This book had so much potential and I LOVED Local Woman Missing, but this just fell flat for me. The twists just didn't hit like they should've. The storyline was super confusing when Part 2 rolled around. It was like the past and present were happening at the same time? What? That had me hung up thinking how it didn't make sense. The ending was she got away with it? When the dad was a high powered attorney? Where did her $10k go? So many open ended questions that didn't add up.

I found the book a bit slow to begin with and the ending a bit convoluted but I did enjoy the moments of tension and as I got towards the end of the book (part 2 basically) I couldn’t put it down.

The one thing I can say about this book is that it is boring and forgettable. The only thing I gave it an additional 1/2 point for was that the storyline had a lot of potential. But, it did absolutely nothing with it.

Nothing even really happened in this book until over the halfway point. And, somehow, this book managed to do both too much and not enough.

Do not recommend.

This book had me going right from the very start!

I wasn't sure what to expect, as I went into this book not knowing ANYTHING about the plot, but omg, the start of this book seriously had me wanting to know what was going on and what was going to happen. I couldn't stop listening to it and seriously just wanted to know how everything was gonna come together.

The reveal was so good!!! I definitely did not predict it, even with all my guesses, and found it to be SUCH a well-done storyline. I've been recommending it to so many customers and hoping they'll enjoy it as much as I did!

I honestly cannot wait to read more thrillers because of this!
